Parent portal is the web interface provided to parents to enable them to add credit to their child’s account, which can then be spent on services such as catering, vending, printing etc. This enables value to be added quickly and easily from anywhere with internet access and means the student does not have to bring money to the school premises. The Parent Portal also allows the parents to produce historic reports of the child’s spending, including the amount spent and what it’s been spent on. Should a parent therefore wish to control their child’s eating and spending habits. The parent also has the facility to control the amount that can be spent daily to ensure when adding a balance added it is not spent too quickly. The Parent Portal is divided into 4 pages:
